Presentation
1 or 10 vial case, with vials containing 10 or 15 mL of Gadopentate dimeglumine (Gd-DTPA-dimeglumine 469 mg/ml) aqueous solution.
Application Mode
Intravenous.
Diagnostic Indications
Developed as a contrast media, it’s paramagnetic properties make it suitable to obtain magnetic resonance images (MRI) in adults and two-year old children. Viewgam® facilitates the visualization of intracranial lesions including all types of tumors, lesions of the spinal cord and associated tissues.
Viewgam® is indicated for imaging of any part of the human body, including arm joints, hands and legs , pelvis, chest, breasts, neck and face, thus permitting full body MRI.
It can be used to detect and confirm the existence of tumors allowing for better differential diagnosis, as in the case of invasive tumors (eg glioma), neurinoma, meningioma and metastasis.
It is indicated for the visualization of small tumors and to explore recurrence after radiotherapy or tumor surgery (pituitary adenoma).
It is indicated for the differential diagnosis of fibrous and tumorous tissue in different pathologies, or after antitumor therapy, as well as for the evaluation of blood flow in healthy and diseased tissues.
It allows the precise diagnosis in cases of spinal disc hernia, renal function and musculoskeletal studies.
